My freezer is packed with frozen fruit these days and chances are yours is too.
Fresh berries of course are always best when eaten in season, but frozen berries often works just as well in most recipes. In fact in some cases frozen is even better, since it’s available all year round and is ready to use. They also brings a little seasonal sunshine into an otherwise grim pantry of non-perishables and are a real lifesaver when using fresh just isn’t an option. So with that in mind, I’ve rounded up 10 of my favorite recipes with frozen berries.
The 10 recipes below can all easily made with frozen instead of fresh berries. You’ll find everything from blueberry coffee cake, to a cherry berry crumble, lemon berry parfaits, berry filled popsicles and more. So pull out those bags of frozen berries you’ve shoved in the back of the freezer and put them to good use!
1. Baked Blueberry Pancake
Instead of standing at the stove waiting to flip pancake after pancake, it goes right into the oven, leaving you free to attend to other things. The top is studded with juicy blueberries for a pretty presentation, but you can use whatever kind of berries you’d like.

This blueberry streusel cake is an example of a simple but scrumptious cake that you don’t need a special occasion to enjoy and can be made with frozen instead of fresh berries.
