A creamy sweet and warming spiced turmeric milk drink that tastes like sweet potato pie.
In the blink of an eye summer turned to fall and soon the weather will be crisp enough to warrant a warming start or end to the day.
Chilly mornings will call for a cup of warmth and that’s when I find myself craving something with a little spice for added heat. With plenty of spicy ginger and cinnamon, this spiced sweet potato pie turmeric milk fits the bill perfectly.
A cross between a sweet potato latte and turmeric milk (also known as golden milk), this creamy sweet drink laced with warming spices tastes like sweet potato pie in a mug and is just right for the fall season.
It’s a wonderful way to use up leftovers as well, since either steamed or baked sweet potatoes work here. It’s also an excellent way to incorporate a number of beneficial spices like ginger, cinnamon and turmeric into your diet. The earthy taste of turmeric blends so well with warming spices like cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg.
Smooth and silky with a creamy texture it’s at once soothing and fortifying. If you’re feeling sluggish this cup of coziness will also put a little extra pep in your step.
I can’t think of a nicer way to welcome fall than with this simple, creamy concoction. Enjoy!

Turmeric is such a wonderful spice a I love this milk. My mom used to make plain turmeric and honey milk and it used to work wonderful for a cold. I can't wait to try this out with my boys.
Beautiful pictures as usual.
