Kelly Moore Bags Review and Giveaway (Worldwide)

While the photo world is filled with incredibly functional accessories and cutting edge technology, it often falls flat when it comes to aesthetics, and that’s especially true for camera bags.  When it comes to carrying your camera gear around, traditional choices have been pretty slim in the looks department.  Carrying around a big, bulky bag that screams “hey, I’ve got thousands of dollars worth of equipment in here” seemed like the only choice.

Luckily photographer Kelly Moore saw a need and created her line of stylish camera bags that double as purses.  Every bag in her line offers both style and function.

From the outside these bags look like chic purses, but on the inside you’ll find padded interior walls with removable dividers that protect your gear, so you can walk around safely without looking like you’re carrying a camera bag.  Wander inconspicuously while traveling without fear of drawing too much attention to yourself, wear it while shooting, or just use it in daily life as a purse.

When looking at the line of Kelly Moore bags, I was immediately drawn to the 2 Sues bag.  The bag is named after two of Kelly’s friends both named Sue (also photographers).  This two sided bag has two fronts, one side has a wallet style zippered compartment that holds CF cards along with a spot for credit cards, while the other side has two bottom pockets and two top zippered pockets to hold various accessories.

The bottom of the bag where the gear sits is well padded and the adjustable dividers allow you to customize the interior space to fit your needs.  It’s a tall bag so long lenses fit beautifully.  I fit my camera body with a lens attached along with a second lens and still had room on the side for additional camera accessories, and there’s even a divider in the back you can use to hold your iPad.

The 2 Sues has a zippered top, but also comes with hidden magnets at the top which will keep the bag closed even if not zipped and comes with a regular shoulder strap and a messenger style strap so you can choose how to carry it.
