I’ve been on a quest to find bags to carry my camera gear that look as good on the outside as they function on the inside, which is why I was happy to discover Nathiya Prahnadi’s line of camera bags called *emera.
Stylish and practical camera bags for women can be hard to come by and Pineapple Seed jewelry designer Nathiya Prahnadi learned this herself when looking for the perfect bag to carry her camera. With an eye for design and a background in product development she quickly created *emera bags. Feminine but practical *emera bags, are constructed with padded compartments to protect expensive camera equipment along with some special touches.
Her camera bags will fit your DSLR body along with a few lenses, a small laptop or ipad, with room for your cords, battery chargers and other small gear. Inside there’s a zippered pocket to keep memory cards and small essentials safe, while the adjustable padded dividers and zippered top keep items in the bag securely in place.
The bags are made of water resistant coated canvas and come in a messenger bag style or a tote. I chose the circle print tote for its fun exterior design and its large accessible interior compartment. Everything is well crafted down to the small metal feet that protect the bag when placing it on the floor.
*emera has generously offered to give one lucky Gourmande in the Kitchen reader a chance to win their very own *emera camera bag (ARV $169) AND……
As I mentioned Nathiya is also the creator and designer of a line of jewelry called Pineapple Seed. I was immediately drawn to the simple yet elegant lines of the pieces in her collection and wanted to share them with you as well so she has also offered to send a piece from her jewelry line (ARV $119)!
I chose her beautiful serenity necklace for its timeless and understated elegance. It features a champagne diamond on an 18k matte gold circle pendant that hangs on a ball chain. It’s a beautiful piece that coordinates perfectly with the circle print of the *emera tote bag.
A woman can never have too many bags or too much jewelry, right?
